The view began to grow dull

A white haze hovered in the atmosphere outside of the castle, as snowflakes began to make their way toward the ground. Alex sat at the edge of the frozen path in front of the castle’s main entrance, finally taking a well needed break from browsing books for much needed answers. “Of course as I take to resting, a blizzard nears..” He huffed.

Now that he had the mindset off of what worried him, he was able to rest his thoughts as well; not that his dilemma was solved, but if he tried to think any more, he felt his brain might just short out and not work anymore.

And as much as he loved his fiancee, and the land she governed, he hated having to stay cooped up inside for warmth, to stay away from blizzards, or in general. Yes his body temperature was higher than most, so it was easy for him to stay outside in this tundra-like environment, in a tank top and shorts or less… Yet he yearned for heat, for full sun, humidity. Green. The only green in this entire kingdom was in his garden; one that he had expanded out behind the castle. He’d also set up other areas where there was no snow, to grow things in their natural environments; though not visited any in a couple months. Not left the castle past his garden in months…

(This is before his hair began to grow out and before meeting Adonia, haha~ It’s been stuck in my drafts till now, though I don’t feel like continuing whatever I was writing towards here~ >3> ;; )
