New OC - Benedict (Benny)

Designed Benny from some previous designs Brandon had, and finalized a color palette for him. I didn’t intend to make him look very tribal, but I guess it’s alright.

For a little about him: Thatch commissioned Alex to help his dwindling crop of Nightmare Cotton, which was dying off through Thatch’s continued gene splicing/experiments and whatnot, and it was getting less and less effective of controlling the people in his kingdom, not to mention that it was having trouble going to seed/reproducing. Alex is summoned to “help,” and refuses upon arrival, but of course he is threatened and given options that don’t lead to his death. Alex bargains for Kenneth and Agent’s freedom, if all goes well.

Thatch later hears about Alex’s daughter, Cici, and demands that he create a golem similar. Alex spends about a month trying to do so, although very against the idea of creating another golem, since he considers them his children. Benny is created, and immediately forced to produce nightmare cotton as much as he can, to which Marlene starts to distribute among the people, before sending Alex on his way with Agent and Kenneth.

Alex is forced to return to the nightmare kingdom every so often to see Benny, to make sure that he functions correctly, as per Thatch’s requirements, and that he isn’t getting too worn out or dried up. This happens once a month or so, and Benny is never allowed to leave the castle gardens in the Nightmare Kingdom, unless Thatch accompanies him.
